Camden Andrew Michalek is an aspiring architect/interior designer. He has been extremely passionate about design for years and loves drafting and rendering in his free time. He is a freshman at the Savannah College of Art and Design, majoring in architecture, and he does freelance work. In addition to design he loves photography, drawing, and painting.

Personal Statement

I love intertwining art and design; in my eyes they are one in the same and when successfully fused together, create incredible beauty. I hope to inspire people with my work to spread joy and a desire to make life more beautiful. 

I love to travel and observe the works of other designers, some of my favorites being McAlpine, Jeramiah Brent, and Ken Fulk. These designers inspire me with their fusion of historical and contemporary styles, a concept I like to explore in my own work.

I believe that all buildings have a sole, and that the mark of a good designer is one who can express that sole and give their designs life. I strive to create designs never seen before, that not only inspire but also create an experience for residents. My spaces should speak volumes about their own personality and life, and transport viewers into the wonderland that I have envisioned.
